Connecting To Your Loved One

In my experience, the first few days of losing a loved one, you may experience enormous pain and loss. For your loved one, they are usually in a bit of shock themselves. Protective angels and loved ones rush in to guide them through this period. The angels allow them to remain aware of their family and loved ones and to experience what they are feeling. Being aware of others understanding that they have passed is part of the transition. You may have felt your loved one at the memorial service held in their honor. People have shared with me the most amazing and miraculous events that they are positive was their passed on loved one. I call this a grace period. The angels allow this grace so that your loved one can come to accept that they are no longer earth bound in the physical realm. For the medium, it is usually relatively common to communicate with your loved one through the angels or passed relatives.
After a short period of time, usually a few days or a week, the guiding angels will take your loved one to a new place. This place will be considered a counseling session. They will shower your loved one with love and support. They will complete a life review and complete lessons that they had learned on earth. This process can take a long time or just a few months. I find that the more complicated the passing the longer the review. At this time, it is difficult for a medium to communicate with your loved one. Usually, this is the time that you want to reach them the most. This is a difficult transition for you both.
After a year or so, your loved one is able to learn the new language of the universe. It is a new way of communication. For you to learn a foreign language would take some time and this is similar to how it is for them. At this time, they are also getting ready to take on new challenges, new goals, new job and relationships. They have many decisions to make about their future and how they will spend it. Free will is a gift on planet earth, things are much more structured on the heavenly side. Think of it as more of your loved one having options to choose from that are given to him/her verses us having free reighn over all of our life choices.
Finally, after a few years, your loved one is comfortable with their language ability and will easily communicate with me during your reading. They are comfortable with their new life and you may be in a better place too. It really takes time to adjust. These readings are filled with tears of joy and laughter, and healing. Once in awhile you get a great connection much sooner, even within weeks, but not very often. We can try to connect with your loved one at anytime, but it is important to be patient.
Keep your heart open and have faith in the higher powers in the universe. Pay attention to signs, symbols, songs, written messages and gifts hidden in nature. Your loved one is likely communicating with you more often than you know.
